“DON’T LOSE HOPE”, KING UWEMEDIMO TELLS PATENTEES/ NIGERIANS, AS CCNL LAGOS CHAPTER HOLDS PATENTEES’ FORUM

“It is not how far but how well”, this is what the King of the wealth of the ocean, Dr. Clement Uwemedimo, the CEO/MD of Comandclem Nigeria Limited is assuredly telling the esteemed teeming PATENTEES across the globe as regards the protracted legal tussle between him/CCNL and Oil giant, Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited concerning Patent Right over the ANTI-CORROSIVE SPECIAL PAINT for Q.I.T (Transteel Blue, White Enamel QAD) believed to have been invented by Dr. Uwemedimo. The final judgment which supposed to have been delivered on 5^th August 2008 could not hold due to the sudden death of the presiding judge, Justice Isaiah I. Ejiofor of the Federal High Court, Uyo Division, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.

The sad event occurred owing to a ghastly motor accident in Abuja when he was returning from Uyo on the fateful day. However, new date has not been fixed as at the time of filling this report due to the recess usually embarked upon by the judicial workers. But the King in his usual undaunted manner has assured dear patentees and Nigerians that, “there is no cause for alarm as the gavel will surely fall in his/CCNL’s favour anytime the final judgment is delivered”. To him, it won’t be justice denied as a result of justice delayed as no lower Court can upturn the decision of an upper Court having won up to the Supreme Court level.

He also urged the numerous valued patentees to remain optimistic and not succumb to any propaganda, harassment and persecution from any quarters as the battle is of the God and not man and no man can defeat the good God or distort the good plans He has for the people through the accrued ROYALTIES expected to be paid by the oil giant when the pendulum switch favourably towards him/CCNL in the nearest future. The landmark judgment would therefore reshape the destiny of our beloved country- Nigeria once it is delivered as the accrued huge royalties will be used to, “liberate the masses, salvage the pathetic conditions in the land and develop the nation at large”, he said. He charged them to stand firm, hold tenaciously and remain loyal to this GREAT MOVEMENT that will give birth to a NEW NIGERIA after colleting the huge royalties.    

In his own explanation and word of assurance, the Company’s legal adviser, P.R.M. (II) Prince Samuel Oriade Olaniran (JP) ESQ, told the patentees in the legal parlance that, “the case is no longer an AWAITING JUDGMENT but SETTLEMENT since it has been established in the previous rulings that favoured CCNL”. He further clarified that, “What remained for the Federal High Court whose jurisdiction is resources related matters to determine, is how much do Mobil owe CCNL and establish payment mode”. He said these statements during the PATENTEES’ FORUM recently organized by the Lagos State Chapter of the Company at the LTV 8 Multi Purpose Hall, Ikeja. He also cited many cases to have been won under similar obvious circumstances once it has been proved beyond reasonable doubt that the Complainant like CCNL has good case before competent court of laws and Comandclem has done just that, having secured rulings that gave them unchallenged victories in the past.

Nothing also could have assured millions patentees like the nice and precise speech delivered by the Lagos State Coordinator, Prince Apostle Ajamu Sunday at the PATENTEES’ FORUM. He eloquently read thus, “I bring to you greetings from his Efficiency, Rev. Dr. King Clement John Adiamiko Uwemedimo, CEO/MD of the COMANDCLEM Nigeria Limited. It is our joy that you made it to this Patentees’ Forum to witness progress of things so far. Without mincing words, the inventor of the Anti-corrosive special paint for QIT, King Clement Uwemedimo purpose to give all Nigerians who registered as patentees an opportunity to enjoy total liberation from imported abject poverty and joblessness.

He reiterated further that Comandclem remained the original inventor and owner of the ANTI- CORROSIVE SPECIAL PAINT having been issued with the NON-CONVENTION PATENT CERTIFICATE NUMBER RP 13522 by the Federal Government of Nigeria in 5^th August 1999. And since Comandclem has been claiming statutory ownership of the invention certificate, neither individual\ corporate has challenge them by way of petition as required by the laws nor Federal Government attempt to renounce, disassociate itself or even revoke the certificate from them .

It was also moderator of the day that adds glamour and flavour to the whole event. He is Mr. Taiwo Akinsola of Choice FM, a federal radio station based in Lagos. He moderately treated the audience with his usual baritone voice and comic pleasantries being used when presenting his popular Yoruba morning radio programme titled, “Koko inu iwe iroyin”, meaning, “the real subject matters or topic sentence in daily news papers”. It is the most avid listening morning programme in Lagos and its environs. In aptly summarizing the whole statements made so far during the event, he said, “what matter is how much is our money and when are we going to start collecting our monies plus enjoying the benefits promised by Comandclem”.

He often calls Comandclem “Our Company” because according to him, “Comandclem is our Company owing to the fact that I am also a strong stakeholder having registered myself and my entire family into the Comandclem scheme”. He stated further, “Even though I was skeptical or a bit reluctant to accept giving them announcement through my programme when the matter was initially introduced to me but I got convinced after I made an independent research about the company through a journalist colleague who lives in Uyo, the home base of the King himself and I want to state here categorically that, Comandclem is a company of repute and proven integrity that cherish good name and keep to its words. Once it says it will do something or make promises, it will surely fulfil them”.  He finally debunked the allegation that Comandclem is a fraudulent Company and that if it is a Company like that, it would have been exposed, its staff arrested and detained for financial criminal activities. After all, it has its offices located across the 36 States of the Federation including Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. They are not a fictitious Company or persons/characters as the names, addresses and phone numbers of its entire staff are always on their flyers, handbills, and posters, as well as on newspapers and magazine that usually give them unbiased reportage.

It was during the questions and answers time that patentees were satisfactorily treated as regards issues that have been bothering their minds concerning Comandclem and they further pledge their allegiance and unalloyed loyalty to the Comandclem with prayers being offered for the timely SETTLEMENT of the matter.
